ENG: Siddharta [Faenza, IT]

siddharta[1]A girl is crouching and leaning against a column of the platform number 3, far away from all the students and employees who are waiting the train to Bologna; she wears a blue skirt, a leather jacket and black boots. A hot wind blows, trailing with it some sand, a red impalpable sand that comes from the Sahara; the girl is calm and balanced. In the right hand she has a cigarette, in the left one a book, Siddharta by Herman Hesse. She reads and smokes, and the red sand lightly covers the pages of her book.
When the train arrives the magic ends: the cigarette butt is thrown away, and the book is put back in the bag. The girl seems to have found her peace of mind.
